Our Goal

Our goal is to deliver high quality Primary Health Care to you.

We aim to treat you promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.

To achieve this we have a loyal and dedicated team of Doctors, Nurses, Administrative and Attached Staff co-ordinated by our Practice Manager.

Training

We are a Training Practice linked with the Northumberland Vocational Training Scheme and as such we regularly have a Registrar Doctor working with us to gain experience of working in General Practice.

Partners

Dr Jackie Halliday-Pegg. Part Time Partner

MBChB (Liverpool 1990) MRCGP DRCOG DCCH

Dr Jackie Halliday-Pegg joined us in June 2016 having been a partner in East Lothian.  She became a Partner in the practice in April 2020.

She has interests in gynaecology, child health and sports/exercise medicine

She is registered on the Child Health surveillance list and takes part in running our well Baby Clinics with our Heath Visitor.

She is also trained in the techniques of Joint Injections

She is responsible within the practice for managing the computer system to co ordinate the care of chronic illness and maintaining our high achievement in the Quality and Outcome Framework.

Dr Mark Schofield

Dr Schofield joined the practice in July 2024 as a salaried GP. He became a partner in April 2026. He is interested in all areas of general practice but has a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine

NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below. However it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice. All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for full time partners working in this practice in the last full financial year was £101,232 before Tax and National insurance. This is for one full time GP, three part time GPs and zero locum GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
